I purchased the Princeton Review and Kaplan GRE study books several months ago. I started with Kaplan and found it more confusing than helpful. I read the first section or two, and then did not continue with this book. Princeton Review, however, was much more clear, in my opinion. Before studying at all, I scored a 490 verbal and 490 quantitative on the PR computer adaptive test (very helpful!). I spent the next two months studying about 10 hours each week. My main obstacle was learning new vocab, whereas I really just needed a bit of review for math. I memorized the first 4 vocab lists in PR's "hit parade" (out of 6). I also bought ETS's "Practicing to Take the GRE" book, which contains actual past-used paper tests. The PR book does not provide enough practice problems, which would be my only complaint, so definitely buy ETS's book as well. I also found the Writing Section in PR to be extremely helpful. I went into the test with the structure for the essays already planned out.
Rejuvenate will give you a nice shine when you first start using it. Then you will start noticing streaks on the floor from moving chairs and pulling a vacuum with wheels across it. These are not unusual events and should not cause streaks. Now I'm supposed to strip it and buff it off? Awful product! Definitely not as advertised.
Look for reviews of this on Google. You will find lots of them. All sponsored by this company. That should tell you something. The claims are wildly exaggerated.
I have owned over 8 different Nerf guns over the many years that I've been involved in office warfare, from the original N-Strike line to the new Elite guns. This little "noisy cricket" is by far the best.
Quite aside from the annoying DRM issue, I've heard from 2 friends who now have played it that it has been massively dumbed down, which is deeply ironic to me, because CLEARLY the people who have been waiting with huge anticipation to buy this game are not people who want to play a typical, obvious or simple game. The fascination with this game has been 100% about the deep, implied complexity of tinkering with creatures within the context of evolution, of the way species change and compete, of building things in one phase that seriously effect those in another. I have heard that NONE of these promises (in articles, interviews and countless previews of the game) have been carried through with anything but a superficial and almost insulting manner (in that these promises were essentially about a game they decided not publish, for fear of scaring away the supposedly revenue-driving middlebrow public). Here's one example: in the final version of the game, you can change a creature in every phase... without consequence, based on whim, doesn't matter what happened before. What a tragedy!! Clearly Maxis lost their nerve, or the executive team of EA -- with its almost genius capacity to destroy or lobotomize anything with true originality -- squashed the game down to the 3rd grade level.
People always want to know if the story is true and was he there. I even told my kids the story so they might fall in love with the song. I've always love this song the most, it's very unique and exudes emotion!
What a memory hog. I have to turn off live monitoring to have the computer responsive. I guess McAfee has decided that they will presume you have a top of the line computer and otherwise their program just won't work well
