This is a great low-profile reel, and for such a great price. I was worried it was too good to be true, but it isn't. Within five minutes, I had this thing dialed in a ready to roll (some instructions would have been helpful, but there are enough YouTube videos to help get the job done quickly). Really lightweight and feels fast but powerful. I love it!
Only because I very much wanted software to copy my collection of tv clips on one dvd, .I ordered this product though I had read many very negative reviews about it being a rip off. I couldn't find any software that gave much more promise. I tried the trial version first which worked fine in "cd copy" mode as opposed to option the software lists primarily. copies were easy and turned out fine playing well on dvd players. version was nero platinum 2015. quite unethical that the purchased version stated I now needed also a "video authoring" software as well to produce a copy (it burned only)...suggesting Nero's "Video 2015, of course! try to find that one...good luck...only place I found it was Staples and that software costs as much as the Nero Platinum 2015. freeware, Flick, didn't appear to burn from video td burnable format which is how all dvds i burn to hard drive appeared. my pc wouldn't even accept iso (?) format. Even Amazon's only listing was shown as unavailable. After having difficulty even burning the dvd in nero platinum 2015 (unsuccessful!), I felt my way through the second software, Nero Video 2015, and discovered I could make a good (hopefully) dvd copy simply importing the entire homemade dvd from d drive into the program and burning copy from there. haven't had a chance to thoroughly check the copy out on my dvd player...format is little different on screen, but does play. didn't need nero platinum 2015 at all !! hope this review helps prospective shoppers. big waste of time and $'s on platinum 2015.
Purchased this product, attempted 3 times to install, fails and never install. Apparently this product is crap. Don't ever bother purchasing.
I have used Registry Mechanic for years. It has performed well except for the 'Bleacher' For some reason, my old XP systems (4), do not respond well to bleaching so I have simply cut off that part of the system. Really, I have nothing to hide so it is not a problem. If ever I feel the need to overwrite my free space, there are many programs already on most systems that are available to accomplish the task. The biggest selling point for Registry Mechanic is that you can use one license on up to 3 computers. This saves a bunch of money compared to all other top line Registry Cleaners that allow only one computer per license. I am not sure how long Amazon's price will stay so low but, my purchase was 1/3 of the normal retail price. I bought enough for next year's subscription! It is a whole suite of tools. I am sorry that a couple of reviewers had a bad time. Moved desktop icons are easy to rearrange but system errors can be a real problem. I hope that anybody that makes ANY system changes such as those made by Registry Mechanic, has made a clone, or perfect copy of their 'C' drive before starting. I personally use clones.
